Expansion of NeftTI's learning opportunities and leadership

It is with enormous awe and pleasure that I share with you an expansion in NeftTI’s learning opportunities and the expansion in NeftTI’s team of leaders.

I’m not sure that I’ve ever shared how the concept of a Canadian National Emotional Freedom Techniques Training Institute occurred to me.

I was happily sitting reading my latest ‘trashy novel’ in my living room on a Sunday afternoon in July 2012 when all of a sudden, instantaneously, a fully formed vision of a ‘NeftTI’ downloaded into my being. It was kind of like that movie, Field of Dreams.

Build It And They Will Come

I saw a very clear picture of how NeftTI was to be ten years in the future, 2022. And along with the picture came the phrase ‘TRUST and DREAM BIG’. (Okay that still brings tears as I type it …)

… And so that’s what I and NeftTI have been doing.

From the beginning I knew NeftTI was to specialize in offering the highest quality training to the helpers, current and aspiring transformational coaches and clinicians. But in the beginning there wasn’t enough of them to fill a workshop! And so Neftti started by offering its programs to everyone, including the public who’s interest in tapping was only for their own stress management issues.

Now NeftTI has turned a corner and our community includes highly qualified coaches and clinicians who are actively offering EFT services to the public through private sessions, workshops, groups and even Introductions to EFT.

Now NeftTI can take the next step in our training evolution.

And so … drumroll …

I’m pleased to introduce the launch of CONSCIOUS EFT™.

Conscious EFT™ embeds gold standard EFT within a trauma informed and systems oriented framework of SAFE, SIGNIFICANT and SUSTAINABLE CHANGE. Safe for the client – and – safe for the practitioner. It provides a framework that solves the ethical and practical issues that have plagued me with the grass roots original version of EFT.

Secondly, I’m honoured to introduce the launch of a dual stream of DISCOVER the POWER of EFT trainings. One stream for unregulated practitioners using EFT as transformational coaches and one stream for regulated practitioners using EFT as psychotherapists. Although I believe there is significant overlap between these two groups, providing specific training which most closely matches current background and experience creates additional emotional safety, so important in a training which is holistic and experiential rather than only intellectual.

The next offering of the DISCOVER for Transformational Coaching is in Edmonton, Nov. 2,3,4 2018 and is open to all. Not too late, organizer Corby Furrow tells me there are a few spaces left.

The debut of DISCOVER for Psychotherapy is in Markham, Nov. 30, Dec. 1,2 2018.

Regulated practitioners who have previously graduated from DISCOVER are welcome to attend at the ‘Alumni’ price of 225 plus 13% hst. Your presence would be highly valued!

And … saving the best for last … I am pleased to welcome onto the NeftTI team as a NeftTI Mentor and co-facilitator of DISCOVER for Psychotherapy, my friend and colleague of 30 years, Lynda Rees. I hold Lynda in great esteem in all the roles she plays in my life and am excited to be working with her in this new way.

Lynda brings her very rich background as an RN Psychotherapist, Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapists and AAMET Approved EFT Mentor along with years of dedication to her professional and personal growth.

In the DISCOVER for Psychotherapy training Lynda and I will be sharing over 15 years each of knowledge and expertise with integrating EFT into our clinical practices.
