I am pleased to have this opportunity to meet the NeftTI community. I am a secondary school teacher and have been teaching for just over a decade. Before becoming a teacher I did many things, worked in theatre, was a legal secretary, an employment recruiter, managed an online company and at one point I ran a home daycare business.

I decided to go into teaching to have some stability in my life. What I did not anticipate was exactly how stressful and all–consuming the profession of teaching would be.

I cannot express how fortunate I was to discover EFT. I believe that it not only saved my sanity, but allowed me to continue in the teaching profession. I have, over the last 3 years, changed my position in the board twice, each time allowing myself to reclaim more life-balance while still maintaining a teaching practice of integrity.

The decision to take NeftTI’s Harness the Power 10 month Transformational Coaching and EFT certification program was life changing. Not only did I get the experience and practice I needed to be an intuitive and successful EFT practitioner, but also I learned how to run a business and how to market myself.

I created enduring relationships that not only assist me personally, but also provide valuable professional connections. I can’t believe the way my life has “up-leveled” since starting the Harness program.

Now, along with being a full time teacher, I am a transformational coach specializing in EFT. My clients are teachers and students experiencing stress and anxiety. Since I experienced this first hand (as both a student and a teacher), I bring a lot to the table in terms of knowledge, understanding and compassion.

I recently had the opportunity to work with a 17 year old student who was suffering from acute panic attacks. Through the gentle techniques of EFT, she was seeing amazing results after just one session. After our first meeting, she wrote me to say “Kerry, I have been doing everything you said! It’s helping so much. It is insane how few and short my panic attacks are getting. I can even stop them before they happen more often than not.” This student has gone on to show EFT to her younger cousins.

I am thrilled to be working with such amazing people, seeing them transform their own lives and I am inspired by how many lives are being touched by this profound yet simple tool!
