For at least six weeks, I’d been putting off an important phone call.
It wasn’t a difficult call. I had the phone number. I knew exactly what I wanted to say. The whole conversation would probably take two minutes.
And still, I wasn’t making it.
It would have been easy to call this procrastination, avoidance, resistance or even self-sabotage. But none of those labels helped me understand what was actually happening.
Finally, I decided to sit down and explore my own inner blueprint around this situation.
What I discovered had very little to do with the phone call – and a great deal to do with the predicted cost my blueprint held around having a need and asking another person to respond to it.
I’ve shared the story in this informal audio reflection.

You’ll find the audio below, followed by the full transcript.
Is there an action in your own life that you know you “should” take – and haven’t taken?
Are you willing to explore what happens if, just for a moment, you stop making that evidence that there is something wrong with you?
Might the non-action be carrying intelligent information that has not yet been heard?
You might gently tap and say:
“Even though part of me has not yet taken this action, I’m aware that this part is here – and perhaps I could be curious with it.”
And then listen.
No part of us needs to be shamed, silenced or abandoned in order for action to occur.
