Resolving conflicts behind wisdom tooth pain

surprisedIt’s always fascinating to experience how EFT/tapping connects seemingly unrelated issues. I spoke today to Sarah, someone I introduced to tapping many years ago, who has continued to use it to support her health and well-being.

Sarah shared with me that recently she was using tapping for the pain of a wisdom tooth. Her dentist told her it had to be extracted because ‘there was not enough room for it.’

Sarah was not a fan of that plan.

She started to tap on ‘Even though there is not enough room for this wisdom tooth … I accept the situation and my feelings about it’. She reported that, as she continued to tap, the wording spontaneously moved to ‘Even though there is not enough.’

This was an intense moment for her as she realized that this is a core belief she has lived throughout her life and that has limited many of her decisions.

I know she will continue to use her EFT/tapping to discover and dissolve the events that led her to create this core belief.

Sarah then shared her ah-ha that even though she has used a mouth guard for years to manage night time teeth grinding she had never stopped to explore what fears were underneath that behaviour. Now she would.

“The term ‘wisdom’ tooth has taken on a whole symbolic meaning for me!”
